I love a dog I found on your website/pet-finder/adopt-a-pet/social media!  -- Great!  We exist to help people bring dogs home for life.  If you haven't already, please read about our adoption process and submit your application by following this link.  Most of your adoption questions can be answered on that page.  If you've already submitted an application and are sending a follow up email to tell us more about yourself or to check in, please know that we are in touch with every applicant in the order they are received.  Sending additional emails creates more work for our adoption volunteers.  Trust us, we will be in touch.

How much is your adoption fee? What is the adoption process? How do I start? — You can read everything about our adoption process here.

I live far away, can I adopt a puppy? — We can only approve applicants for adoption from our immediate Charlotte region. Pits & Giggles is a very small organization and we provide extensive post adoption support. We find that we are unable to do that for adopters outside our immediate region. If you’re from far away we appreciate your interest in adoption and encourage you to find a local organization to assist you with your puppy adoption.

I love what you do! I’d like to volunteer! — Great! Visit this page for more information.

What is your address?  Can I come to your shelter to meet your dogs? -- We aren't a shelter, but rather we're a network of foster families.  We don't have a shelter, although we sure wish we did!  For mailing donations etc, here is our mailing address.  2764 Pleasant Road Suite A #621  Fort Mill, SC 29708

I found a dog, can you help?  I have a dog I can't take care of anymore, can you help?  There is a dog in shelter that needs your help! -- The most common request we receive is for dogs in need.  We will reach back out to you if the dog you're sending is pregnant or nursing.  Otherwise please know that we cannot assist owner surrenders or stray dogs.  We have put together a page on our website to offer you great tips and resources to get your dog a new home.  Trust us, you have a better chance of finding them a great home from people in your circle than an animal control office can.  Take a look here

I have a business/product/event/partnership that I know will be a great resource for your organization!  -- Great!  If you're local to Charlotte email us and we will reach back out if your product/service is a good fit for our organization.  No need to send a follow up email.  If your business is national, please remove us from your contact list.  Our organization is small and we like to focus on a local impact.

If I adopt a puppy, how big will they be? What will their fur be like? What are they mixed with? — I wish we knew! We try, with every litter of puppies, to make our best educated guess on their mix and their eventual size. However, every litter is different and there is no way to predict for sure what a puppy will look like as an adult when they are a mixed breed dog. We do know for certain that every single puppy we send home will love their family with their whole great big heart.
